If the infection is not healed, you can continue the treatment for five more days. If your cold sore gets worse or is not healed within 10 days, see your doctor. Do not exceed the stated dose. Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if your cold sore is very severe, you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you know your immune system is weakened.
